Dan Murphy of Kilcolman, Milltown

Dan passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday March 15th 2026 at University Hospital Kerry.

Predeceased by his parents Denis and Nora Murphy.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Mary (née Twomey), sons John, Denis and Donal, daughter Gillian, John's wife Emma, Denis' fiancée Maggie, Gillian's husband Johnny and his dearly loved grandson Jack(Australia), his brothers John (Ballyvourney), Christy, Jeremiah and Tom, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

May He Rest In Peace

Reposing Wednesday evening at Flynn's Funeral Home Castlemaine from 5.30pm - 8pm.

Funeral arriving Thursday morning to The Sacred Heart Church Milltown where the Requiem Mass for Dan Murphy will be celebrated at 11am. Burial afterwards in Milltown Cemetery.

Mass will be live streamed on churchmedia.tv

House strictly private to immediate family only and family flowers please.

To Mary,John,Denis & Family our thoughts and prayers are with you all .during this difficult time It is terrible news to receive especially when your away from. Home I have no doubt Dan is in a better place, but the legacy he left behind he be so proud of his sons achievements here in Australia.
