Passed away peacefully, aged 80 years, in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff at University Hospital Kerry, on Thursday, 8th January 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her parents Michael and Margaret, and her Aunt Julia, sisters Julia Mai and Eila and brother David.
Catherine is fondly remembered by her brother Danny, sister-in-law Bridget, brother-in-law Pat Halden, nephews and nieces Pat, Michael and John Daly, Patricia (Flavin) and Michael D. Lenihan, Micheál, John Paul and Brian Lenihan, Michael, Donna and Keith Halden, nieces-in-law, nephews-in-law, grandnieces, grandnephews and her friends, neighbours and former colleagues.

Reposing at Harnett’s Funeral Home, The Square, Abbeyfeale (V94 AK44) on Saturday, 10th January from 6.00 p.m. until 8.00 p.m. Requiem Mass for Catherine will be celebrated in The Church of The Assumption Mountcollins on Monday, 12th January at 2.00 p.m.
Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
