Bridie Hanrahan (nee O'Donoghue) of Carhoona, Tarbert and formerly of Bedford, Listowel
Bridie passed away peacefully, in the tender and compassionate care, of the staff and management of Willow Brooke Care Centre, Castleisland on June 3rd 2026 surrounded by her loving family. Bridie is predeceased by her beloved husband Tom, her sisters Kitty (Hennessy), Nancy (Mc Auliffe), and Joan (Kissane). Bridie will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving brother Sean, her brother in law Thomas (Kissane), her nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, cousins, extended family, relatives, neighbours and her many friends.

Bridie will repose at St Mary’s funeral home Tarbert, on this Friday evening (June 5th) from 6pm until 8pm. Bridie’s funeral cortege will depart Carhoona on Saturday morning (June 6th) at 10:20 to arrive at St Mary’s Church Tarbert at 10:45am for Requiem Mass at 11am. Interment to follow at St Mary’s new cemetery. Family flowers only, donations if desired to Alzheimers.ie (alternatively a donations box will be in place at the funeral home). Bridie’s family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care received by Bridie in recent years by the staff of Willow Brooke Care Centre Castleisland.
