The death has occurred of Billy Blackett, Ladywell, Ballyheigue and formerly of Manchester in the loving care of his family, staff of Willowbrooke Care Centre, Castleisland and staff of Muckross ward U.H.K.
Predeceased by his wife Peg (nee Doyle), mother Bridie Blackett (nee Cantillon), father Paddy Blackett, brothers Michael, Alfie and Patrick Blackett.
Sadly missed by his loving family, daughter Lucy, son Billy, son-in-law Mark, grandchildren Robbie, Katie, JP and Alex, great grandchildren Lorcan and Roísín, his neighbours, extended family and friends

Reposing at Hartnett's Funeral Home (V92 WTK8), Ballyheigue on Wednesday 27th May 2026 from 5pm to 7pm. Requiem mass will take place on Thursday at 11am in St. Mary's Church, Ballyheigue followed by cremation in Shannon Crematorium.
