Betty (Elizabeth) Galvin née Lenihan, Ballaugh, Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick and formerly of Croagh, Co. Limerick
Betty (Elizabeth) passed away peacefully, at University Hospital Limerick, on Saturday 2nd May 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Jimmy, brothers Paddy (Croagh), Fr. Michael (Texas), sister Helen (Galway). Betty is very sadly missed by her loving family, daughters Joan, Christine, Helen, Lisa, Carmel and Rose, sons Donal and Liam, sons-in-law Tom Minogue, Paudie Sheehy, Eamonn Prendiville, Eugene Danagher, Mike Barry and Dan Barry, her adored 21 grandchildren, brother Liam (Croagh), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, her dear friend Julie, all her relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Harnett’s Funeral Home, The Square, Abbeyfeale (V94 AK44) on Monday, 4th May from 4.00 p.m. until 7.00 p.m. Requiem Mass for Betty will be celebrated in The Church of The Assumption Abbeyfeale on Tuesday, 5th May at 11.00 a.m. Requiem Mass will be live streamed on https://churchmedia.tv/church-of-the-assumption-abbeyfeale
Interment afterwards in Reilig Íde Naofa, Abbeyfeale.
