Bertie passed away peacefully on April 21st 2026 in the compassionate care of the staff of St Louis Nursing Home, Tralee.
Bertie is pre-deceased by his loving wife Bernie, brothers Martin and Michael, sister Kathleen and granddaughter Danielle.
Beloved father of Danny, Bertie and Trisha. Sadly missed by his loving family – his sons, daughter, brother Donal, sister Annie [Moriarty], daughters-in-law Margaret and Marie, son-in-law Ted, grandchildren Grace, Megan, Sharon, Lauren, Maria, Tommie, Sarah, Sofia, Patricia, Edward and Anna, great-grandchildren Danny, Luca, Shay, Sonny, Senan, Lottie, Matthew, Adrian and Marion, sister-in-law Mary, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at McElligott’s Funeral Home, Tralee on Thursday from 5.30PM to 7.00PM. Funeral arriving to St John’s Parish Church, Tralee on Friday morning at 11.40AM where the Requiem Mass for Bertie will be celebrated at 12.00 noon followed by interment afterwards in Old Rath Cemetery.
