The death has occurred of Sheila (Julia) Fitzgerald née O’Driscoll, Charleville, Co. Cork and late of Clydine, Kilcummin; Sheila passed away peacefully at Mallow General Hospital on Monday 25th May 2026
surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her sister Mary Murrell (Killarney), brother Dan O’Driscoll
(Kilcummin), her sisters in law, and brothers in law.
Beloved wife of the late John (Jack) of Gloragh, Sneem, Co. Kerry. Beloved mother of Maura. Very sadly missed by her nieces and nephew Breda O’Callaghan, John Murrell, Margaret Murrell, Margaret Blake (nee O’Driscoll), Moira Murrell, and their
families. Fondly remembered by her 10 grandnieces and grandnephews, Maura’s partner Mike, her good friend Tina, relatives, many dear friends and neighbours.

Reposing at O’Malley’s Funeral Home, New Line, Charleville (P56 T184) on Wednesday 27th May 2026 from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Removal at 7.30pm to Holy Cross Church, Charleville. Requiem Mass on Thursday 28th May at 12 midday. Burial afterwards in Holy Cross Cemetery, Charleville, Co. Cork.
