“Am I Only Getting Half a Hearing Grant Because I’m Deaf in One Ear?” - September 25th, 2023

Elaine Courtney from Castleisland is deaf in one ear. 4 years ago, she got a €1,000 grant towards a Cros aid and paid the remaining cost of the aid (€1,000)herself. She now needs a new hearing aid. It’ll cost her around €2,500. Elaine says she has been told she is only entitled to €500 of a grant.
