100 Years Since the Shooting of the “Die-Hard Girl” – September 1st, 2023

Tomorrow the centenary of the killing of a 22-year-old woman from Glencar will be commemorated. Hannah O’Connor was shot by a Free State soldier on her way home from a dance on September 2^nd, 1923. Jerry spoke to Hannah’s grandnephew, Michael O’Connor, and to historian Owen O’Shea.
