Young Tralee Basketball Star Is Player of the Year

St Brendan’s Underage star, Rap Buivydas has been announced as Basketball Ireland’s Joint Male Player of the Year for 2018.

He played a major role in CBS The Green getting to the All Ireland Schools Cup final and he is a member of the Garvey’s Tralee Warriors Super League squad.

Rap also made a huge impact in his debut season wearing the green of Ireland and he finished as the second highest scorer and leading rebounder at the FIBA U16 European Championship Division B in Sarajevo.

Darragh O’Sullivan from Neptune was announced as the other Joint Male Player of the Year.
