Winds of up to 100 kilometres per hour are set to hit Kerry this evening and overnight.
Met Eireann has issued a status yellow weather warning for the county, which comes into effect from 4 o’clock this afternoon.
Southeast winds will reach average speeds of between 50 and 65 kilometres per hour with gusts of up to 100 kilometres per hour.
There will also be high seas and a risk of coastal flooding.
The warning is valid until 5 o’clock tomorrow morning.
