A West Kerry film producer is being honoured at an awards ceremony in New York tomorrow night.
Siobhán Ní Chiobhán, originally from just outside Ballydavid, was named among ‘Forty exceptional young leaders from the across the USA’, in a list compiled by Irish Echo Publications.
Having worked in Belfast in both TV and radio production, she moved to New York four years ago and is currently working on a project focussing on climate change.
Siobhan plans to return to Kerry this summer to find a location to shoot and produce a short film called ‘Thethered’.
