A West Kerry community scheme has been shortlisted for the SEAI Sustainable Energy Awards.
Dingle Sustainable Energy Community was established as part of Mol Teic, a community enterprise company which operates the Dingle Creativity and Innovation Hub.
It forms part of Dingle 2030, a broader initiative driving sustainability projects in the areas of energy, transport, agriculture, tourism and the marine.
Its aim is to facilitate the process of transitioning the Dingle Peninsula to a low carbon community.
The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland awards gala will take place in Dublin on 16th October.
