Kerry County Council is providing a tanker to supply water to residents in parts of mid-Kerry who have been without water since early on Tuesday. A pipe breakage near the Board of Works road in Beaufort has caused a loss of supply in several parts of Beaufort, Faha, Milltown and Listry. Radio Kerry News understands that the pipe breakage has occurred under a bridge and is proving difficult to access but Council staff are working to restore the supply as quickly as possible. The tanker will be at Listry GAA Grounds until 1.30 today, at Ballyoughtra Heights in Milltown from 2 to 4pm and at Flynn’s Forge near Faha from 4.30 to 6.30 this evening. There will be further updates on Radio Kerry throughout the day.
