Walshe Returns To Monaghan Team After Injury

Colin Walshe makes his return to the Monaghan side following a cruciate injury for Sunday’s Ulster Football semi final with Fermanagh. He replaces Drew Wylie in the full-back line, after the Ballybay man suffered a knee ligament injury of his own. Meanwhile, Pat Flanagan has kept faith with the side that lost to Longford in the first round of the Leinster Championship, for Saturday’s qualifier with Waterford in Dungarvan. There were wins in the Educate.ie Ladies County Under 14 Football League Division 3 for Ballymac and Kilcummin. Ballymac beat Currow 1-5 to 1-4 while Kilcummin defeated Moyvane 6-4 to 2-5. The Division 2 semi-final this evening sees Laune Rangers host Inbhear Sceine Gaels in Cloon Killorglin at 7.30. At 7 in the Glebe Kitchens Under 12s Division 3 Desmonds play Glenflesk. One game went ahead last evening in the County Junior Football League. Group 3 saw Gneeveguilla beat Castleisland 4-15 to 8 points. There’s a limited number of games this evening in the Junior Football League, at 7.30 unless stated. In Group 3 Kilgarvan welcome Clounmacon. Group 5 sees Crokes host Waterville while at 8 it’s St Mary’s V Glenflesk. In Group 7 Templenoe will be home to Dromid. Group 8 at 8 has Lispole hosting Scartaglin. Tonight in the Rhyno Quality Feeds North Kerry Senior Hurling Championship quarter final Kilmoyley entertain Lixnaw at 7.30.
