Vodafone pladges to continue appealing planning decisions

Mobile operator Vodafone say they’ll continue to appeal planning decisions if they fail to extend their network in the county. The company has just been granted permission for a mast in Killorglin at a location within one kilometre of where people live. The County Development Plan prohibits any masts nearer than 1,000 metres. Opponents of the location are accusing An Bord Pleanala of undermining the plan. Tara Delaney is Director of Communications with Vodafone.
