Vintners Association to discuss freeze on alcohol prices

The Vintners Association in the county say they are in talks with drinks companies to put a freeze on the cost of alcohol. Chairman of the federation in Kerry says the move would help offset losses experienced by pubs in the county as a result of the smoking ban. If adopted, the freeze would be preliminary introduced for one year. It`s to be discussed at The National Federation AGM in May. John O Sullivan says they would welcome the move for the good of the hospitality sector.
