People’s views are being sought on a Draft Noise Action Plan for Kerry.

Kerry County Council has prepared the document to address noise from major roads with traffic flows greater than three million vehicles a year.

The plan doesn’t apply to noise from domestic activities, noise created by neighbours or workplaces, or noise inside a means of transport.

The draft plan and maps are available for inspection up until May 8th at County Buildings and council area offices throughout the county; they can also be viewed on the council’s website.

Submissions or observations can be made up until May 22nd.
