Valentia Slate signs contract with British House of Commons.

Valentia Slate has signed a 10,000 euro contract with the British House of Commons to replace a portion of the slate floors. The original floors laid 150 years ago made extensive use of valentia slate. According to Michael lyne of the quarrying company they have visited the House of Commons in the last week and are to supply valentia slate to restore the floors.He says certain parts of the building have a massive footfall and the floor has become very worn. Speaking on this mornings Kerry Today Mr Lyne said it`s a prestigious contract for the Valentia company.
