An update on planned safety works for a dangerous road in Castleisland, which has been the scene of numerous fatal accidents, will be presented by the council in November.
Cllr Jackie Healy-Rae sought an update for the N21 road, from Castleisland to Abbeyfeale, at the recent Castleisland Corca Dhuibhne MD meeting.
He said it's a very dangerous stretch of road, where a number of accidents have occurred and lives have been lost.

Kerry County Council told Cllr Healy-Rae that a full update on the safety works will be provided at the next MD meeting, which will take place in November.
