A new collective working space – which includes a testing platform for the Internet of Things (IoT) – is being developed in Dingle to attract innovation and tech companies and start-ups to the area.
The ‘Dingle Hub’ initiative – supported by Dingle Business Chamber, Údarás na Gaeltachta and Kerry County Council – will see 1GB fibre broadband provided by eir in a contemporary office space in Cuilín.
Ciarán Williams of Dingle Hub says the initiative will support local creativity and skills profile by encouraging people to return home to work.
He says it’s also hoped to broaded the jobs’ spectrum of the area.
