Union calls for emergency recruitment drive in UK and Australia for nurses

The General Secretary of the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation has described figures published earlier today – which show 563 patients waiting for a bed in emergency departments around the country – ‘as a new low’. The INMO says its a national emergency which must be addressed and is demanding recruitment drives in the UK and Australia.
