Údarás na Gaeltachta is hosting a one-day online event today to showcase some of the crafts produced and developed in Ireland’s Gaeltacht areas.
The Gaeltacht Craft Expo 2020 will give a platform to some of the world’s top craftspeople, both established and up and coming, and will include Kerry’s Brian de Staic and Louis Mulcahy.
The celebration of Gaeltacht crafts is one of a range of events being organised to mark the 40 year anniversary of Údarás na Gaeltachta, the regional authority responsible for the economic, social and cultural development of the Gaeltacht in Ireland.
