Two million euro is allocated to Kerry General for cleaning

A budget of over two million euro has been allocated to pay for the cleaning of Kerry General Hospital this year. This is an increase of nearly 400 thousand euro on last year’s cost. Fine Gael’s Health spokesperson, Dr Liam Twomey believes most of the increase has been spent on wages. But a spokesperson for Kerry General Hospital says the costs are broken into three categories, wages, the price of cleaning materials and a stringent cleaning policy.
