Two men are to appear in court in Cork today following burglaries in Kerry, Limerick, and North Cork over the past year.

A quad bike valued at €8,000 was recovered, after the men aged 37 and 55 were arrested in the Kilmallock area of Co Limerick.

The arrest of these men is the result of an investigation into the theft of quad bikes in Kerry, Limerick, and North Cork over the past year, by gardaí attached to Newcastlewest Garda Station.

They arrested the two men, aged 55 and 37 years, in the Kilmallock area of Co Limerick on Tuesday evening.

They’re being detained at Newcastlewest and Bruff Garda Stations under the provisions of Section 4 – Criminal Justice Act 1984.

A quad bike with a value of €8,000 was recovered.

The two men are to appear before Middleton District Court this morning, charged in connection with the investigation.
