Two Kerry groups awarded for work in promoting and reviving Irish language

Two Kerry community groups have won awards for their work in promoting and reviving the Irish language.
Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne won 2nd place in the Gaeltacht category at the Glór na nGael awards recently, while Coiste Ghlór na nGael Clochán Bhréanain won an award for the best voluntary group in Munster.
Máire Ní Scanláin from Oidhreacht Corcha Dhuibhne was presented with €3,000 from Udarás na Gaeltachta.
Clochán Bhréanain received €1,500 for their achievement at the ceremony in Westmeath.
