Two County Council Directors in the running for Managers post

Two directors in Kerry County Council are looking to replace Martin Nolan as County Manager. Radio Kerry News understands that Tom Curran and Joe Mc Grath have applied for the top job. Mr Curran would be regarded as the internal front-runner for the post. He’s been made Deputy Manager by Martin Nolan, who leaves in April after seven years in Kerry.A former Council Official who’s now based in Cork is also understood to have shown an interest in the manager’s job. John Deasy held the position of County Secretary in Kerry before moving there. Today is the closing date for applications.
