Earlier, Frankie Dettori was a popular winner aboard Time Test, the 13-to-8 favourite in the Tercentenary Stakes. The Ribblesdale Stakes was claimed by 9-to-2 shot, Curvy. The first race of the day – the Norfolk Stakes – was won by the Aidan O’Brien-trained Waterloo Bridge at a price of 12-to-1.
