Tributes paid to retiring Kerry Airport manager Peter Moore

Tributes are being paid to the General Manager of Kerry Airport, who is retiring from the role after 30 years service.

During his time in charge, Peter Moore saw passenger numbers grow from 30,000 in the mid 80s to 336,000 last year.

A statement issued on behalf of the airport chairman Denis Cregan, described Mr Moore as having ‘excellent leadership and communications skills’, and praised him for steering the airport through difficult times in the aviation sector in the wake of 9/11.
