Protests from the Traveling Community in Listowel are to continue unless they receive a positive response from vintners in the town according to their spokesman Leonard Evans. Demonstrations were held on Friday night and Saturday afternoon in protest at alleged discrimination against members of the Traveling Community.Leonard Evans says his group would be willing to suspend their protests if they heard a positive response from the Vintners. Speaking on this mornings Kerry Today Mr Evans says the travelers will continue to demonstrate. Members of the towns Traveling Community are awaiting a response from the Listowel Vintners meeting this evening.
