Tralee Town Council and taxi association to discuss ongoing prpblems

Tralee Town Council have agreed to meet with the taxi association and ask them for proposals to solve the ongoing problem of the lack of space for taxis in the town. The prime taxi rank in the Mall is not adequate to facilitate the 90 taxis servicing Tralee. Previous consultations between taxi organisations and the council have not proved successful. Cllr Norma Foley says she would like to see an open consultative process as everyone has a vested interest in transport in the town.
