Tralee company applying to Kerry County Council for air pollution licence

A Tralee company is applying to Kerry County Council for an air pollution licence.

BioAtlantis Ltd. is submitting an application to the council for a licence to discharge emission to the air from the processing of seaweed, and production of seaweed extracts at their premises in the Clash Industrial Estate Tralee.

Under the Air Pollution Act 1987, owners of certain industrial plants must obtain an air pollution licence from their local authority to run industries that will be responsible for emissions.
