A Tralee business man is calling for more communication from Irish Water regarding improvement works taking place in the town, after they resulted in a drop in business.
General Manager of Kelliher Feeds and Agri Supplies John Lynch says continuous roadworks in the Ballymullen area of Tralee led to a 40% drop off in their business.
He says there was no access to the road one morning this week, as both ends were blocked.
Mr Lynch says it is very worrying as it is normally a busy time of year for them.
In response, Irish Water say they are currently delivering an extensive programme of water network improvements in Tralee.
They say traffic management is in place, adding there is a multitude of underground services in that area.
John Lynch says more communication is needed when repair works are causing such disruption.
