Train passengers on drinking spree cautioned by Gardai

Gardai boarded the special match train at Rathmore on Saturday evening to caution teenagers who had gone on a drinking spree for the day. Up to 30 teenagers took the early train for the Kerry Dublin game and brought holdalls of drink with them. On their return after the match, an Iarnrod Eireann Inspector contacted the Gardai and asked them to meet the train in Rathmore. One of the Gardai has told Radio Kerry News that they cautioned the teenagers about their conduct and that was the end of the matter. The group disembarked in Killarney.
