Traffic calming measures are to be put in place on one of the main entrances to Listowel.
Bridge Road, where people enter the town from the Tralee and Duagh directions, will undergo a number of works.
Listowel Municipal District councillors gave the Bridge Road plans the go ahead at their recent monthly meeting.
The road width will be reduced to seven metres, and there’ll be a two-way shared cycle and footway of four metres in width connecting the Square and Town Park.
The plans also involve works at the junction between the N69 and the Paddocks Housing Estate.
There had been no submissions or observations made on the plans when they were out on public consultation.
