Tourism summit aimed at getting everyone in sector working together

An upcoming summit on tourism in Kerry is aimed at getting everyone in the sector working together.

That’s according to Patrick O’Donoghue, Chief Executive Officer of the Gleneagle Group.

The Kerry Tourism Summit, which is organised by Kerry Tourism Industry Forum and supported by Radio Kerry, is taking place in the Brehon Hotel, Killarney on November 25th.

Patrick O’Donoghue says the whole county can work to improve the tourism industry.

Mr O’Donoghue says the hotel sector don’t see Airbnb as a competitor; he believes it’s actually opening up the county and getting people to parts they wouldn’t usually visit.
