Tour operators give full refunds for planned trips to Thailand

People in the county who have planned trips to the Tsunami affected regions of Thailand will receive full refunds from their tour operators and airlines until the end of January. David Slattery of Slattery Travel in Tralee says people are still travelling to parts of the country, including Pateyeya and The Gulf of Thailand which were not affected by the tidal waves. He says from a tourism viewpoint the next 12 months will be tough, but the recent disaster will not have a long term effect on tourism there.
