Tipp Hurlers Minus 2 For National League

tipp gaa crestTipperary manager Eamon O’Shea will have to plan without key defenders Michael Cahill and James Barry for the vast majority of the National Hurling League. Assistant manager Michael Ryan has revealed that Barry has already gone under the knife to cure a hip problem and Cahill is awaiting surgery on a similar problem, which is hoped will take place this month. According to the Irish Independent Barry is expected back in training in March while Cahill could miss the entire campaign. The Premier hurlers are in Waterford Crystal cup action this Friday night when they host Mary Immaculate at Doctor Morris Park in Thurles.
