Tintean Theatre project to get 700,000 euro in funding.

The Tintean Theatre project in Ballybunion is to get further funding of 700,000 euro. Work on the project is to resume today and it’ll open during the summer. The theatre will seat over 500 people and will showcase traditional Irish dance.A once-off grant of 825,000 euro was allocated in December 2001. The Kerry and Dingle walkways will be upgraded with a grant of 85,000 euro. Tourism Minister John O`Donoghue and Deputy`s Tom Mc Ellistrim and Martin Ferris have welcomed the funding.
