Time may be running out for Tralee Festival.

The President and Chief Executive of the Rose of Tralee are warning that time is running out to save the festival. A statement issued to Radio Kerry news this afternoon says they’ve spoken to all interested parties in Tralee and briefed them on what’s needed to rescue the event.Con O’Connor and Siobhan Hanley are waiting for a response and say they’re anxious that all bodies are part of the future. A listener’s poll on Radio Kerry this morning showed 62 per cent in favour of keeping the t v selection in Tralee. The Managing Director of the Gleneagle Hotel in Killarney, Patrick O’Donoghue, says they’ll accommodate the event if asked.
