Over three quarters of a million euro allocated to Kerry Airport

Over three quarters of a million euro in funding has been allocated to Kerry Airport.

The funding is part of a national allocation by Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport Shane Ross under the Regional Airports Programme worth 1.9 million euro.

The grants go towards safety and security projects.

Kerry Airport is earmarked to get €769,537.

The announcement has been welcomed by Junior Minister Brendan Griffin and Deputy Michael Healy-Rae.
