Three members of Killarney family remain in hospital following crash in Australia

A man is due to appear in court next month, in connection with a car crash in Australia which has left three members of a family from Kerry seriously ill in hospital. Australia flag Gerard and Marguerite Brosnan, who are in their 50s and from Port Road in Killarney – were visiting their daughter Karen in Perth. The car they were travelling in with a family friend was in collision with another vehicle on Sunday night, leading to the death of their 56 year old friend. Gerard Brosnan remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital, while his wife and his daughter are both described as serious but stable. The 20 year old driver of the other car will appear in court in February, charged with drink driving and dangerous driving causing grievous bodily harm.
