Thousands still without electricity in Kerry

ESB Fault Thousands of homes are still without power  in Kerry this afternoon after the worst storm to hit the county in years. Gerard Deenihan is with the ESB in Tralee [audio_player src=””]   Meanwhile Kerry County Council road crews are working to clear roads across the county after last night’s storm which recorded 150km hour winds. Padraig Corkery is communications officer with the council [audio_player src=””]   Flights and ferries are affected by the weather and all passengers are advised to contact their transport provider before traveling. Bus Eireann says all services are operating in Kerry at present. Irish Rail services are travelling though the 7am Tralee Heuston train this morning was delayed for 2 hours due to fallen debris at a level crossing near Banteer.
