Thousands of people from Kerry to attend Papal masses

Over 3,000 people from Kerry are travelling to Dublin and Knock for Pope Francis’s visit to Ireland to celebrate the World Meeting of Families.

Over 1,500 people have organised tickets through the diocese and will travel by coach to Dublin’s Phoenix Park and the Knock Shrine on August 26th for the Papal masses.

The Diocese believe at least another 1,500 people have sourced tickets independently.

Aileen Murphy, of the Diocesan Pastoral Developement Team said she was blown away by the response from every parish in Kerry..
