Thousands attend Rose Parade in Tralee

Last night in Tralee, the winds and rain did not deter thousands from making it on to the streets to greet the Roses in Denny Street.

Nine marching bands, floats and colourful displays raised the spirits of many, who waited for up to two hours before the parade began.

The 2017 Rose of Tralee Jennifer Byrne says is was a great honour to be back to lead the Festival Parade.
