The winner takes it all, as the saying goes. The following year, the questions are usually about how does a team retain and defend their title and will the hunger be there.
However, there’s arguably more work to be done by the team that lost the final. How do teams bounce back from that? Can players become demotivated from the loss? And how do coaches and managers turn that around?
