New study shows that certain positions on the GAA field can have more running involved

A team of students at Dublin City University (DCU) have written a paper on the running performance of elite U20 Gaelic footballers during matches.

The research was carried out on 29 Gaelic Footballers playing intercounty under 20 football over a two-year period.

Tommy Mooney, Ian Darragh, Shane Malone, Erwan Izri, Sami Dowling were all authors on the study.
