A Kerry man has signed his first professional soccer contract.
Seán Kennedy, who hails from Annascaul, has put pen to paper with SSE Airtricity League side Cork City, who currently play in the countries second division.
Earlier this year we spoke to 3 Kerry men playing their trade in the division. Kevin Williams and Martin Coughlan are in the Cobh Ramblers camp while Matt Keane still plays for Treaty, Shane Lowth was released last week.
But Seán is keen to impress at Cork City, a club which he has been with since joining the Under 17 set up in 2019.
