Teagasc C.E.O. warns North Kerry farmers of falling incomes.

Teagasc C.E.O.William O Brien has issued a warning to agricultural farmers in North Kerry that their incomes will fall in the coming years more so than their South Kerry counterparts. Mr. O Brien says the majority of the county`s 2,650 dairy farmers are situated in North Kerry. These farmers have a high dependency on agriculture and are not subsidising their income with other business, unlike farmers in the south of the county, many whom have been integrating farming with tourism. William O Brien is warning farmers in North Kerry of what they need to do to avoid a loss of income.
