TDs supporting tomorrow’s water protest say tens of thousands of people will still turn out despite the obstacles of bad weather and work. The demonstration will kick-off outside Leinster House at 1 o’clock tomorrow afternoon – and organisers say they want those who can’t turn up at lunchtime to join the protest in the evening. The British TV host and comedian Russell Brand has called on Irish workers to take the day off to attend the march. Socialist Party TD and Lispole native Joe Higgins says work and weather will only boost the protest’s impact.
